Mission: 

• Bring youth and their concerns to the attention of the Elk Grove City Council

Goals:

• Encourage the children of Elk Grove to grow up with the strengths, knowledge and skills necessary to become confident and successful residents
• Build a mutual trust and partnership between students, their families and community leaders by providing young people with positive role models
• Provide leadership training and an opportunity to play an active role in promoting solutions to community problems
• Advocate and engage our youth in city policy making
• Serve to frame youth as resources, advancing positive youth development
• Address educational needs and problems facing our youth in our community 
• Appoint an advisory group to address issues affecting youth and children
